Holley (Holly) Blue Agate Necklace - "Calm" by J. Mummey

This beautiful Holley Blue Agate stone, "Calm", is by artist J. Mummey. She cut and polished this stone over the summer and added to a 3mm Midnight Blue Micro Fiber Flat Faux Suede Leather Cord. The clasp is magnetic, making for an easy on and off process. The pendant's lavender/purple hue is a beautiful addition to any jewelry collection.

Many natural features of this stone remain, giving a textured visual and touch experience.

Hardness: 6.5 - 7.0.
Occurrence: The chalcedony family (microcrystalline quartz).
Appearance: Translucent violet-blue, sometimes banded like agate.
Enhancements: Holly Blue is not enhanced.
Location: Holly Mountain near Sweet Home, Oregon.
